Venue
The conference will begin with registration and welcome drinks on 27 March. The registration desk will be open in the evening on the first floor of Kanazawa Bunka Hall (Kanazawa City Culture Hall). For those unable to arrive in Kanazawa on that day, the registration desk will reopen on the morning of 28 March at the same venue.
The venue for the reception on 28 March is Jim Hall, located a ten-minute walk from the conference venue.
Transportation
To Kanazawa
When travelling to Kanazawa from overseas, most visitors arrive at Narita Airport (Chiba), Haneda Airport (Tokyo), or Kansai Airport (Osaka), and then take trains to Kanazawa.
The closest airport to Kanazawa is Komatsu Airport, which offers flights from Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei, and Hong Kong. Domestic flights from Haneda Airport to Komatsu Airport are also available. Buses connect Komatsu Airport to Kanazawa Station and Komatsu Station.
To Kanazawa Bunka Hall
The conference venue is Kanazawa Bunka Hall. The nearest bus stop is ‘Minamicho-Oyama Jinja (Shrine),’ which is a three-minute walk from the hall. Please note that nationwide prepaid transportation cards (e.g. Suica, Icoca) cannot be used on city buses operated by Hokuriku Railroad. Please prepare cash, a credit card with contactless payment, or Kanazawa City the One-day Pass.
